Subj: PRESENTATION OF NATIONAL ENSIGN
1. Let it be known that on 3 April 2003 this National
Ensign was flown over Water Point Viper in support of the
Liberation of Iraq in "Operation Iraqi Freedom."
2. Water Point Viper produced, stored and distributed
over 5.5 million gallons of water that sustained over 87,000
Marines and Coalition forces in Iraq. Water Point Viper
led in direct support and established the 1st water point for
all of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Forces.
3. The Myron L. Company played a significant role by
providing water test meters to ensure water quality for all
Marines and Coalition Forces. Your company and staff
represent what is best in America. Your patriotism,
enthusiasm and your strong sense of duty are in keeping with the
highest tradition of the Marine Corps and Naval Service.
4. From all of the Marines that served on Water Point
Viper, Iraq. I take great pleasure in presenting you with
this flag as recognition for your strong patriotism and support
and we say "Thank You."
